A simpler way to look after your business finances

Discover Docket’s roadmap for small businesses: organized finances, connected accounts and AI preparation with a professional accountant in the loop.

We’re building toward an accounting assistant that brings business documents, financial organization and professional support together. Here is what Docket offers today, what we plan to add, and how a professional accountant fits into that future.

What can Docket do today?

Docket helps you create quotes, invoices, receipts, agreements and other business documents through web and WhatsApp conversations. You provide the details, choose a reusable template and review the finished document.

That is our starting point. An invoice records what a customer owes, a receipt confirms a payment, and an agreement explains what you promised to deliver. Our next chapter will connect more of the financial story behind those documents.

What is Docket building next?

We plan to bring invoices, receipts, supplier bills and bank statements into one organized financial workspace. Docket will help connect payments with documents, organize expenses and highlight missing information.

The aim is to make it easier to see what has been paid, what remains outstanding and what needs attention, while preparing clearer records for your accountant. These accounting capabilities are planned; they are not available today.

Who is Docket for?

Docket is for small businesses and startups selling to individuals or other businesses. The roadmap covers everyday sales, deposits and refunds, alongside business invoices, supplier bills and partial payments.

We will begin with a small group of businesses and accountants so we can learn which workflows save time in actual use before expanding.

How can Docket work with my accountant?

Our planned accounting service brings Docket and a professional accountant together. Docket will prepare and organize information; the accountant will review accounting decisions, resolve questions and approve the work.

Business owners will supply the facts only they know. Our aim is to reduce repetitive preparation for both the business and its accountant, making professional support more accessible. Any savings will need to be demonstrated in the pilot.

Can Docket connect to my bank?

Bank connections are on the roadmap. We plan to connect supported business accounts and accounting tools so keeping financial records current takes less manual effort.

Docket will help match payments, recognize recurring activity and prepare routine tasks. You will have clear control over the actions it can take, while your accountant oversees decisions that require professional judgement. Supported banks and availability will be announced when the connections are ready.

What financial questions can Docket help answer?

We plan to help you understand outstanding payments, spending, cash movements and project profitability using your available financial records.

Examples of the questions we want Docket to answer include:

  • Who still owes me money?
  • What did I spend this month?
  • How has my cash position changed?
  • Which projects are profitable?
  • What should I discuss with my accountant?

Answers will make missing information clear. For example, a project’s profitability depends on having its relevant costs as well as its sales records. These financial insights are part of the planned service.

Can Docket help with tax preparation?

Accountant-reviewed tax preparation is part of the longer-term roadmap. We intend to build on organized financial records and professional review before introducing this service.

The UK and Ireland are in our plans. We will announce the supported services and countries as the appropriate professional coverage and country-specific requirements are in place.

When can I try these features?

We have not announced release dates. The planned order is financial organization, professional review, connected accounts and then broader financial assistance.

We will start with realistic demonstrations, followed by a small pilot with businesses and accountants. Availability will be announced as each stage becomes ready.
